The western Washington native was first introduced to Boise by his older brother. But it was the city’s friendly attitude and outdoorsy, dog-friendly culture that swayed Cameron and his golden retriever, Leo, into settling here. (Being able to easily jet away for a full day of rafting didn’t hurt, either.)
After experiencing the city’s welcoming atmosphere known as “Boise Nice,” he now considers himself a full-blooded Boise convert: “I think Boise offers big city perks while still maintaining a small town feel, which is a very rare balance,” he said.
